Johnson: Chiefs will win it

Johannesburg - Despite Platinum Stars being second on the Premier Soccer League table, their coach Cavin Johnson believes Kaizer Chiefs will win the title.

According to the football411.com website, Amakhosi have 52 points and Dikwena 45 with a game in hand, but Johnson - who has denied they are gunning for league glory - believes the league leaders will go on to win it.

Stars still have to face Bidvest Wits, Chippa United, Chiefs, Maritzburg United, Golden Arrows and SuperSport United.

The Glamour Boys must still play SuperSport too, as well as Moroka Swallows, Ajax Cape Town and the University of Pretoria.

Dinaledi whipped Black Leopards 4-0 in their last outing, while Chiefs grabbed a point against Arrows in an ill-tempered goalless draw.

But Johnson told his club's official website: "I think Chiefs have won it.

"We'll give the best we can, and the gods of football might think differently about Chiefs, but I don't think so."
