Jembula wary of SuperSport

Cape Town - Polokwane City midfielder Sipho Jembula said his team-mates would not get ahead of themselves ahead of the trip to Pretoria on Saturday.

Jembula, who has featured prominently for Polokwane City this term, knows better than most that SuperSport United are not to be trifled with when playing at the Lucas Moripe Stadium. He said the fact that Polokwane have been rising and shining this season would be of little consequence on Saturday.

"We haven’t changed our preparations because we are taking each and every game as it comes and we don’t fear anybody," said Jembula, who still expects his club to produce a performance of the highest quality this weekend.

SuperSport United still hope to make tremendous strides this season, despite encountering a few hiccups along the way, which would suggest that there is a considerable amount to play for. Jembula is well aware of the threat that they still pose and will take nothing for granted.

"We are aware that United are a big side, and were crowned champions of the cup recently. They also have great players who are tactically disciplined but we are confident now as a team."
