Cape Town - Orlando Pirates defender Happy Jele says the team will not sit back and defend their slender lead in the second leg of the CAF Confederations Cup tie against Uganda Revenue Authority.

The Buccaneers take a 2-1 lead into the game at the Mandela National Stadium in Kampala after winning the first leg at Orlando Stadium a fortnight ago.

However, the one goal URA scored, coincidentally an own goal by Jele, means they only need a 1-0 win at home to knock the Sea Robbers out of the tournament.

The fullback is determined not to let his mistake be the reason his team does not make it to the second round of the competition and says they will be tougher than last time out.

"We will be stronger this time around as we are going there to attack and score some away goals of our own," Jele told Soccer Laduma.

"Sitting back is not an option because if the game ends 1-0 then we will be knocked out. The most important thing for us is to get the away goals."

"On a personal level I want to help the team win the match and maybe even get onto the score sheet myself.

"They showed they are a dangerous team and can play especially in front of their home supporters but we are well prepared," he added.
