Cape Town - Orlando Pirates defender Happy Jele expects Mpumalanga Black Aces to play attacking football in their PSL encounter.

Speaking on the clubs website, Jele hopes that Pirates can dish out revenge when the Buccaneers host Aces at Orlando Stadium.

When the teams met earlier this season, AmaZayoni claimed a 2-1 win in Mpumalanga thanks to goals from Mbesuma and Khenyeza.

“I think it is going to be a difficult match because both teams will be playing to win. I think that will also make it an interesting match in the sense that they want to move away from the relegation zone and end up in the top eight,” said Jele.

“At the same time we want to finish within the top two positions in the ABSA Premiership, so on those basis I expect both teams to play open and attacking football, which should make it an interesting affair for the spectators.

“We respect Aces, they are a good team and that is why we lost to them in the first round but having said that Pirates is a different team, we are more positive in our approach, we believe in ourselves as a team and as individuals.

“We also have worked hard to have a winning momentum and we are looking to maintaining it at all costs. We expect an open and attacking game from them, I think they will go for goals.”

Kick-off is at 19:30 on Wednesday, March 18.
