Jele expected to miss Soweto derby

Orlando Pirates defender Happy Jele sustained a hamstring injury during the first half of his team's 2-0 defeat against Golden Arrows at the Orlando Stadium.

Jele was replaced by Edwin Gyimah in the 30th minute of the fixture, which now poses some difficulty for the Buccaneers, who will play against the old foe Kaizer Chiefs at Soccer City on Saturday, October 31.

The 28-year-old will undergo further tests on Thursday, but is expected to miss Saturday's Soweto derby.

The Soweto derby kicks off at 15:30.
