Jali, who now plies his trade in Belgium for KV Oostende, reckons that it is time for Khune to clean out his locker at Naturena and seek a move elsewhere.
“Khune should move, if an opportunity comes along,” he said as quoted by Soccer Laduma.
“He has been at Chiefs for a long time and he should move to find new challenges and other competition outside of his comfort zone.”
The Bafana Bafana goalkeeper’s contract with Amakhosi expires at the end of the month and speculation has been rife since he has not committed his future.
Mamelodi Sundowns is said to be keen on luring the 27-year-old to Chloorkop but Khune has never kept quiet on his ambition to play overseas.
Meanwhile Khune is serving two-match suspension following his sending off in a PSL encounter against AmaZulu.
