Jali eyeing MTN8 final spot

Johannesburg - Orlando Pirates midfielder Andile Jali could be available for the MTN8 final against Platinum Stars in Durban this weekend.

Jali went for a second opinion on his shoulder injury after initial results showed that he would be out for six months.

The club released the following statement, "The results of the latest test midfielder Andile Jali underwent on Wednesday have been made available to the club.

Initial tests from MRI scans revealed that Jali would be out for six months due to a serious shoulder injury however, upon the Club seeking a second opinion on the injury, results indicate that Jali has not damaged any ligaments.

The results from the scans further reveal that due to the swelling on the shoulder: The first readings would always guide to the initial conclusion. There is no damage on the muscle, nor structural damage of any sort. The injury was on a soft tissue, which is a normal injury.
