Isaacs headed back to Wits

Cape Town - Ajax Cape Town have opted not to sign Erwin Isaacs on a permanent move following his loan stint with the club.

Isaacs spent a season-long loan with the Urban Warriors after struggling to find a spot in Gavin Hunt's match day squads.

Bidvest Wits CEO, Jose Ferreira, confirmed that the former Santos forward is set to return to The Students for pre-season training.

“Ajax had an option of buying Isaacs permanently at a price agreed on when they took him on loan at the beginning of the year but they have since decided not to take that option,” as quoted by KickOff.

“So at this stage the player is coming back to us when we resume pre-season training.”
