Isaacs boost for Ajax

Cape Town - Ajax Cape Town will be boosted by the return of a few key players for tonight's game against Bloemfontein Celtic. The changes could result in a winning ending to their Absa Premiership campaign.

According to supersport.com website, captain Dominic Isaacs along with Keagan Dolly and Thulani Hlatshwayo, who all had recent lay-offs because of a variety of niggling injuries, will return for tonight's game.

Centre back Isaacs has not played since the beginning of April, missing the last three games against Moroka Swallows, SuperSport United and Maritzburg United. But he did come through a practice game last week unscathed to retake his place in the squad for the match at the Free State Stadium against his former club.

Midfielder Dolly has benefited from the time granted him by the recent postponement of Premier Soccer League to recover while defender Hlatshwayo missed Ajax’s last game against Maritzburg United after injuring his arm at training.

He has recovered and is set to play his penultimate game for the club before his move to BidVest Wits for next season.

Ajax still have a slight mathematical chance of a top eight finish but have had to play their last three games away from home. They finish away against Platinum Stars on Saturday.
