According to KickOff, Klate has revealed that an abdominal muscle tear will keep him out for a further “three to five weeks” before he dons the Matsatsansta strip again.

“I will be out for another three to five weeks with a torn muscle in my abdominal region,” said Klate.

“My main focus now is to complete my treatment and then resume training so I can fight for my place in the team.

“I’m looking to be back towards the end of February, or beginning of March,” he adds.

Klate will likely miss the following encounters: Free State Stars, Mpumalanga Black Aces, Kaizer Chiefs, Polokwane City and Ajax Cape Town.
