Cape Town - SuperSport United coach Gordon Igesund was full of praise for Ronwen Williams after the goalkeeper's display helped earn a 1-0 win over Maritzburg United on Saturday.

Jeremy Brockie's first-half strike was all that separated the sides at a rain-soaked Harry Gwala Stadium this weekend as Matsatsantsa climbed to seventh in the Premiership standings with six games remaining this season.
However, SuperSport largely had Williams to thank for the points, with the shot-stopper producing two wonderful saves to deny the Team of Choice late on, and Igesund was delighted to return home with the points.
"It's always difficult to come to Maritzburg and play," the former Bafana Bafana coach said after the game.
"Today it was really a game of two halves: in the first half we played really well and kept possession of the ball, and in the second half I told my players that Maritzburg will play the long ball in the rainy conditions, and they had a better second half than us.”
Speaking of Man of the Match Williams, Igesund added: "Our goalkeeper played very well today, he made two spectacular saves, but we also missed two one on ones with the keeper."
