Johannesburg - SuperSport United head coach Gordon Igesund is set to make a decision whether to have his new signing Dean Furman feature in the match against Mpumalanga Black Aces on Saturday, August 22.
Kick-off is at 18:00
Igesund who recently had Furman pen a two year deal with the club said although the former Doncaster Rovers player hasn’t been with a club for a while, it would be good to let him play, and that he has also been looking fit during training.
“I have got to make up my mind now as we are playing on Saturday, against Mpumalanga Black Aces, as it would be great for Dean to debut with the team,” he told Sport24.
“He hasn’t been playing for a club for a while but he is looking good in training as I have been watching as he has been training alone.
“I really have to decide if I will throw him in the deep end this weekend to play or let him carry on with training and fit him in the next games.
SuperSport United will take on Mpumalanga Black Aces at Mbombela stadium.
