Cape Town - Bafana Bafana coach Gordon Igesund has heaped praise on Mamelodi Sundowns' title-winning coach Pitso Mosimane for clinching this season's Absa Premiership title.
Igesund told the Soccer Laduma website, "I'm really happy for (owner) Patrice (Motsepe). I've worked with him in the past and I know how much this title will mean to him. He has a real passion for the game, and I'm glad that passion has been rewarded. Pitso (Mosimane) has to be praised for the season he has had."
The Brazilians clinched the 2013/14 title with a match to spare. They currently lead the standings by four points with a final match against Maritzburg United to play on Saturday.
Kick-off is at 15:00.
This year's title was Sundowns' sixth, but their first since 2007.
