Hunt eyeing Kadi return

Cape Town - Bidvest Wits boss Gavin Hunt says he is eagerly awaiting Calvin Kadi's return from injury as the striker will provide a much-needed extra body.

Kadi suffered a serious knee injury in last year's Nedbank Cup final and has not featured since, with a comeback pencilled in for January.

The 26-year-old has been an influential figure at times for the Clever Boys, and Hunt is itching to have him back in the mix.

"Calvin should be training by January, and that will give us an extra body," Hunt siad ahead of Friday's, October 3 Telkom Knockout clash with Moroka Swallows.

"If you look at the cup final when he got hurt, I thought it changed the whole final for me, I think he was really helping us achieve what we wanted to do."

Meanwhile Swallows and Wits will battle for a place in the quarterfinals of the 2014 Telkom Knockout when they meet at Bidvest Stadium.

Kick-off is at 20:00.
