Hunt heading for Sundowns?

Johannesburg - Multiple PSL-winning coach Gavin Hunt is joining Mamelodi Sundowns in a three-season deal, reports Timeslive.

Informed sources said the knowledgeable Hunt was in Midrand last Thursday for a meeting with general manager Kenneth Makhanya,

Also present at the meeting to discuss the contract was Yugesh Singh, the Brazilians' legal and corporate affairs manager.

"Sundowns bosses have made it clear they are hunting a South African and Gavin has always been No 1 on their wanted list," said one of the sources.

"I know the people involved are going to deny it for a few more days."

Hunt's contract with Supersport United expires on Tuesday. Pirates coach Ruud Krol has denied reports linking him with Downs.
