Heritage Day fate for Derby

Johannesburg - The PSL on Wednesday confirmed the dates and venues of the 2013/14 MTN8 semi-final first and second leg fixtures.

The first leg of the MTN8 semi-finals will be played on August 24 between Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates at the FNB Stadium, at 15:00.

On August 25, Platinum Stars will play Bidvest Wits at the Royal Bafokeng Stadium at 15:00.

The second leg of the semis will be played a month later on September 24 with Pirates and Kaizer Chiefs playing at Orlando Stadium at 15:00..

Later, Wits will host Stars at 19:30 at Bidvest Stadium.

The final will be played on September 28 at a venue still to be confirmed.

PSL general manager of football, Derek Blanckensee, also revealed some changes in the Absa Premiership fixtures.

The block fixtures scheduled for September 24 and 25 will be played on September 17 and 18.

Another block fixture affected is on September 27 to 29.

It will be brought forward and will be played on September 20-22.

Semi-final and final fixtures: 

First leg:

August 24:

Kaizer Chiefs v Orlando Pirates at 15:00 at FNB Stadium.

August 25:

Platinum Stars v Bidvest Wits at 15:00 at Royal Bafokeng Stadium.

Second leg:

September 24:

Orlando Pirates v Kaizer Chiefs at 15:00 at Orlando Stadium.

Wits v Platinum Stars at 19:30 at Bidvest Stadium.

Final:

September 28:
