Cape Town - SuperSport United’s Ghanaian international Edwin Gyimah is reportedly training with Orlando Pirates, and looks set to join the club.
Gyimah has been linked with the Soweto club throughout the off season, and his move now seems to be imminent.
On Friday reports emerged that Gyimah, who spent last season on loan with Mpumalanga Black Aces, had trained with Pirates.
Later that evening he posted a picture of himself on his Facebook page wearing Pirates colours.
Gyimah, who can play in both the defence and midfield, is a full Ghana international, and was with the squad during their recent AFCON qualifiers.
“Yes, he was with the team on Friday,” a source close to the Pirates camp said.
“A deal is expected to be finalised soon, just some of the finer details that needs to be sorted, but it’s expected to happen after the weekend."
