Cape Town - Orlando Pirates defender Tshepo Gumede admits
that he is eager to help his new club get back into the CAF Champions League.

Gumede signed for the Buccaneers from Platinum Stars and the
player is taking it one game at a time following his debut against ABC Motsepe
outfit Tornado FC, a match which Pirates won 4-0.
The defender also believes that they have a chance of retaining the Nedban Cup.
“Look we have a realistic chance of defending and retaining
the Nedbank Cup,” said Gumede on the clubs official website.
“With regards to the League we are only focused on our
matches, we know we have to keep winning and collecting those three points,
whatever happens with the other teams happens but our only objective is to
collect as many points as possible in order to put us in a position to play in
the CAF Champions League next season.”
Gumede is hoping to be among the cast of players who gets to
help the Sea Robbers achieve that all important second star as he reveals his
