Great night for PSL visitors

Cape Town - Every single away team managed to overcome their hosts in Wednesday night's Absa Premiership action.

It was a night to remember for the sides playing away from home as the goals flowed in an action-packed evening in the PSL.

Results from Wednesday's PSL action:

Mamelodi Sundowns 0-3 Orlando Pirates
AmaZulu 0-2 Bloemfontein Celtic
SuperSport United 1-2 Black Aces
Platinum Stars 0-2 Kaizer Chiefs
University of Pretoria 0-1 Free State Stars

It was a particularly bad night for Pitso Mosimane's Sundowns as his side slumped to a 3-0 defeat.

SuperSport United gifted Black Aces their first win of the season when they lost 2-1 at Peter Mokaba Stadium. While both sides finished with 10 men, it was the visitors who led 2-0 before the hosts scored a consolation goal through Dove Wome in the closing stages of the match.

Out goes the form book, the bookmakers odds and the "home team advantage" as all five home teams suffered defeats on Wednesday evening.

Perhaps it's time to make the away dressing rooms smaller and turn off the hot water for the guests?

No! I think the smart thing to do is start again with a younger skipper ...

I'd keep Siya captain for now, but look to have someone else for 2027.
