Graham: Focus already on 'Downs

Cape Town - Ajax Cape Town skipper Travis Graham says the team will not get carried away ahead of their Absa Premiership clash Mamelodi Sundowns.

The Urban Warriors trumped Kaizer Chiefs 1-0 at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium on Saturday, courtesy of a second-half penalty from Nathan Paulse to secure the MTN8 title - their first piece of silverware in seven years.

However, Roger De Sa's side will have little time to celebrate before their midweek showdown with title contenders Sundowns at the Lucas Moripe Stadium.

"We have to enjoy the moment but we have to stay humble and focus on Wednesday," Graham said after lifting the trophy on Saturday.

"It's a feeling you can't explain, the guys are just going to enjoy it. Our mindset was just to apply the tactics of the coach, the players showed a lot of character.

"After our celebrations we will get back together to prepare for our next game which will be crucial against Sundowns."

I'd keep Siya captain for now, but look to have someone else for 2027.
