The 32-year-old tore his left Achilles tendon during the CAF Champions League game against Morocco’s Raja Casablanca.
According to Amakhosi's official website, he was operated on Wednesday at Johannesburg’s Rosebank Clinic and the doctor expects a full recovery.
The defender was able to leave the hospital on the same day.
“We are looking at full training with the team in September,” says Chiefs’ physiotherapist David Milner.
