Gould: I'll Be Back Stronger

accreditation

Kaizer Chiefs defender, Morgan Gould, has insisted that he won’t be disheartened by his latest injury, and has urged the Amakhosi faithful to get behind the team.

The 30-year-old was recently ruled out for the season with a knee injury, just a few games after recovering from a long-term Achilles injury that marred the start of his campaign.

However, the Bafana Bafana international says that he won’t be letting the injury get him down and is adamant that he will come back stronger.

Gould told the Chiefs official website, "I have always looked at my life like a candle. The light of a candle is very powerful and at times even if the wind tries to blow it away, it stands the test of time.

"I will again bounce stronger than I've ever been before. My one plea is for the supporters not to feel sorry for me but to continue wearing their gold and black, blow their vuvuzela, fill the stands and rally behind the team. We are in this together.”

Stuart Baxter’s side take on Platinum Stars on Sunday in a game that, if won, could see them take a major step towards the PSL title.
