Cape Town - Well-travelled coach Ian Gorowa was back at Moroka Swalllows to conduct training sessions on the first day of pre-season as well as to assess a number players on trial.
Sport24 was informed that the Zimbabwean, who has worked at club such as Mamelodi Sundowns and Ajax Cape Town, had been in charge of the Dube Birds’s pre-season along with Goodman Mazibuko.
“Indeed, they have Ian back at the club and he is the one with Goodman in charge of our pre-season and overseeing players on trials,” the source said.
“There was not much to do for old players here, all the focus was on players on trials.”
The Zimbabwean worked at Swallow in 2007 replacing Gavin Hunt.
Swallows are preparing themselves for a campaign in the NFD following relegation from the Absa Premiership.
