Cape Town - Supersport United coach, Gordon Igesund, will use the off season to examine all the players that are currently available to him, even those who have been out on loan.

The experienced manager only joined the Tshwane based club after the 2014/15 PSL season began after the departure of Cavin Johnson.

Supersport’s Chief Executive Officer, Stan Matthews, has revealed that Igesund will be recalling a number of player who have been out on loan according to The Sowetan.

“Remember Gordon did not start the season with us and so he hasn’t seen some of these players. He wants a chance to look at them first before we make any decision on their futures.”

It has also been revealed that striker Dino Ndlovu and Sameehg Doutie are the only players who are not expected to return to Matsatsantsa. Ndlovu is currently at Mpumalanga black Aces while Doutie spent last season at Bidvest Wits.

The list of loanees is a lengthy one which might mean that Igesund will be able to find internal solutions to plug in the missing pieces of the puzzle.

Current Supersport players out on loan:

Stanley Muishond (Vasco da Gama)

Thabani Mthembu (Vasco da Gama)

Andile Fikizolo (Lamontville Golden Arrows)

Prince Nxumalo (Lamontville Golden Arrows)

Roscoe Pietersen (AmaZulu)

Bennett Chenene (University of Pretoria)

Thabiso Nkoana (Ajax Cape Town)

Boalefa Pule (BidVest Wits)
