Cape Town - Bafana Bafana midfielder Dean Furman has vowed to sort out where he will be playing next season as early as possible.
The South African defensive midfielder left Doncaster Rovers at the end of last season after they failed to make the jump to the English Championship.
“There’s not too much happening at the minute but a lot of clubs are starting their pre-seasons now so I’m looking to sort something out pretty soon,” he said to UK paper, the Daily Record.
Furman admits to having received offers from a few clubs but has held out as he has ambitions to play for a strong a team as possible.
“Hopefully things can happen in the next week or so,” he said.
“There has been a bit of interest and a couple of offers but it’s a case of finding the right move.
“It’s all about making progression and I need to strike a balance but I’d hope to be able to get sorted soon.”
Furman, who has captained Bafana on a number of occasions, has insisted that he will definitely not be making a move to the PSL just yet.
