Cape Town - Bidvest Wits midfielder Papy Faty says he is aware of reports linking him with Orlando Pirates, but doesn't think the Students will be open to him leaving.
The playmaker missed a huge chunk of the 2014/15 season after suffering a serious knee injury, but managed to return in the latter stages to rack up 13 appearances as the Clever Boys finished the Premiership campaign in third.
Faty has since been tipped with a move across Johannesburg to the Buccaneers, with a R10m price tag reportedly attached to the Burundi international.
However, the 24-year-old was modest in his assessment of his own value as a player, while also raising doubt over Wits' willingness to allow him to depart for a rival club.
"R10 million is for the top players in the league. For me, after coming from a major injury, I don't expect that," he told Soccer Laduma.
"Offers are always there, but I don't think Wits can let me go for this season."
