Fanteni set to join Israel team Haifa

Bafana Bafana international striker Thembinkosi 'Terror' Fanteni is to join Maccabi Haifa in Israel in a $1.4 million move from Ajax Cape Town, his South African club said.

Fanteni, who is in Bafana Bafana squad for their international against world champions Italy in Siena on Wednesday, has signed a three-year deal.

He is the second South African to move to the Israeli team in recent months, following the signing of fullback Tsepo Masilela in August. Fanteni will move to Israel in January when the transfer window reopens.
