Maritzburg have gone six matches without a league win, with their latest result a 1-1 draw away to Chippa United.

The KwaZulu-Natal team has claimed 13 points from 10 home matches this season.

Their next three league opponents are Orlando Pirates, Mamelodi Sundowns (both home) and Moroka Swallows (away).

The Team of Choice is placed ninth on the Absa Premiership log with 23 points from 19 matches.

Stars have gone three league matches unbeaten and picked up a second successive draw when they were held 1-1 at home by University of Pretoria earlier in the month.

The Free State side has claimed five points from 10 away matches this season.

Their next three league opponents are University of Pretoria (away), Kaizer Chiefs (home) and Platinum Stars (away).

Ea Lla Koto are placed 13th on the Absa Premiership log with 20 points from 19 matches.

In head-to-head stats, Maritzburg and Stars have met in 15 league matches since 2005/06.

Ea Lla Koto have claimed six wins compared to just one for the Team of Choice, while eight matches have been drawn.

Maritzburg have won one of their seven home matches against Stars, suffering two defeats in the process.

When the teams met earlier this season in the Free State, goals from Sekola and Mngomyama saw the match end in a 1-1 draw.

Kick-off is at 20:15 on Saturday, February 28.
