'Downs win in Zambia

Cape Town - Mamelodi Sundows beat Mufulira Wanderers 1-0 as they begin preparations for the upcoming season with a training camp in Zambia.

The first half saw Siyanda Zwane win a penalty which Anthony Laffor slotted home.

Zwane’s runs down the right wing were difficult for Wanderers to deal with in the first-half as The Brazilians constant pressure paid off.

Bafana Ba Style were rusty in front of goal, which is expected during pre-season, but they created numerous chances which would have pleased coach Pitso Mosimane.

At the other end of the field Zambian goalkeeper, Kennedy Mweene, was solid between the posts as he looks to win back his starting spot in the side from Ugandan, Dennis Onyango.

Midway through the second-half Mosimane made 11 changes in order to give as many players in his large squad a run out.
