'Downs targeting treble

Cape Town - Tebogo Langerman admits that Mamelodi Sundowns are preparing to chase three trophies when the PSL resumes.

According to Soccer Laduma, Langerman reveals the defending Absa Premiership Champions are ready to come out guns blazing for the second half of the campaign.

“If you look at how we have been training and playing during the break I can say we are now ready for the challenge,” said Langerman.

“All the three tournaments we are going to play and compete in are not easy but we are ready for that.”

With the PSL, CAF Champions League and the Nedbank Cup on their roster, Sundowns will look to stretch their squad beyond all three competitions as they look to get silverware by the end of the season.

"We have been working hard and the technical team has really worked hard for us to do what they want us to do.

“As I have said it won't be easy but we are ready for that."
