Cape Town - Bongani Zungu revealed that Mamelodi Sundowns were happy to come away with three points against AmaZulu

According to Soccer Laduma, Zungu admitted that AmaZulu are tough opponents especially in their own back ground at the Moses Mabhida Stadium.

“They (AmaZulu) approached us with a very different pattern,” said Zungu.

“We knew they were going to come with two strikers.

“Bongi Ntuli will be on Alje (Schut) and Bongani Ndulula on Ramahlwe (Mphahlele), so I had to play a big role just in front of our defence.

“We are very happy for the win.”

Zungu was awarded Man of the Match for his performance as he put in a busy shift.

Cuthbert Malajila's lone goal was enough to overcome AmaZulu as the win ensured Sundowns move back to second spot on the PSL standings, albeit on goal difference.

Sundowns are 10 points behind leaders Kaizer Chiefs but do have one game in hand over the log leaders.
