Cape Town - Sameehg Doutie has been told he is free to look for alternate employment after SuperSport United decided against renewing his contract.

The midfielder spent the 2014/15 season on loan at Bidvest Wits, although neither the Students nor Matsatsantsa see a future with the 25-year-old.

That means the former Ajax Cape Town playmaker will become a free agent next month when his current contract expires.

Doutie is, however, expected to find a new home swiftly, having bagged two goals and four assists during his 24 appearances for the Clever Boys to help them to a third-placed finish in the top flight.
