Double delight for Massa

Cape Town - University of Pretoria's Geoffrey Massa has expressed his delight after his brace secured his side's first victory at home on Wednesday night.

AmaTuks had not won a single match at the Tuks Stadium in four outings, which has contributed to their struggles in this campaign.

Massa netted a double either side of Thabo Mnyamane's strike to hand the Pretoria outfit a comfortable 3-0 victory over Ajax Cape Town, which was only their second in the league this season.

Speaking to African Football after the match, the Uganda international said that he hopes to carry his goal-scoring form to the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

"It feels good to score two goals in a league match and also create the other," the Cranes marksman said.

"This makes me very happy as we go into two important games for Uganda in the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Ghana and Guinea.

"I hope I can score some goals in these two games because they are crucial for us (Uganda)," he added.

Uganda are currently placed third in Group E of the AFCON qualifying campaign, and have a match against Ghana at home next up before they face Guinea at a neutral ground in their last qualifier.

I'd keep Siya captain for now, but look to have someone else for 2027.
