Johannesburg - Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder Keagan Dolly has recovered from his injury which kept him out of the team's game against Platinum Stars.
The former Ajax Cape Town player said that though he is not sure whether he will be part of this weekend team, he is fit again.
Dolly, who was a former youth player at Sundowns, burst onto the scenes at Ajax three seasons ago, but last season he had a disappointing final year with Ajax by his own account.
However Dolly has had a great start to the 2015/2016 season, for both club and the national under-23 team, who he helped qualify for the CAF U23 Championships. He has scored a number of goals for Amaglug-glug, most notably three in the two legs against Zimbabwe in the qualifiers, and also scored for Sundowns in pre-season friendlies.
Dolly was also man of the match in Sundowns’ first official outing of the season in the MTN8 where they lost to Bloemfontein Celtic on penalties.
"I am fit now," Dolly said.
“I have started training with the rest of the players but I can't say whether I will play or not this weekend because they haven't yet announced the 18 who will be in the squad.
“But I feel good that I am back in action now!”
Sundowns have announced that Dolly will face a late fitness test on Saturday to decide his readiness for the game this afternoon.
