The 22-year-old is technically already on the Brazilians' books after he signed for them last year, but was immediately loaned back to Ajax for the rest of the season as part of the deal.

Dolly has spent his entire career in the Cape after coming through the Urban Warriors' youth system and said he will have happy memories of his time with the club.

"It'll be a bit emotional, but I'm quite excited to take on this new adventure in my life. I think I'm ready for the challenge and can't wait to join Sundowns next season," said Dolly to KickOff.

"Being promoted to the first team and playing with the likes of Matthew Booth, Thulani Hlatshwayo and then obviously making my debut against Manchester United," he said while talking about his fondest memories of his time in the Mother City.

The attacking midfielder won the Young Player of the Season award at in the 2013/2014 PSL season and credits all his success thus far to the Urban Warriors.

"I think Ajax is one of the main causes who made me the player I am today; they are the main reasons of who I am because they gave me the opportunity and platform to start my career, and I am always grateful for what they have done for me."
