Dladla: I was bullied at Chiefs

Cape Town - Former Kaizer Chiefs midfielder, Josta Dladla, has revealed that he was the butt of all jokes at Naturena after being sent to play with the youngsters in the reserve league.

While struggling for game time at Chiefs last season, former coach Stuart Baxter requested the 35-year-old veteran regain his fitness with the development team in the Multichoice Diski Challenge.

Dladla, who has since left AmaKhosi after his contract expired, has blasted some of his former team-mates for their childish behaviour in laughing at him last season.

"Some players used to even laugh at me. They said I was playing with the kids," Dladla told Soccer Laduma.

"Players can be mean and insensitive. Some players would laugh because they knew they'd be in the team every week while I was working so hard.

"You just have to look at where you are and concentrate on yourself. There are insensitive people out there. Focus on your job, because if the coach finds out you're negative, he can use it against you."
