Dikwena shines light on scammers

Cape Town - Platinum Stars revealed that someone is scamming individuals into thinking they have a trial at the club.

Dikwena released a statement reassuring that people should be aware of these scammers.

"It has come to Platinum Stars FC’s attention that someone is using the club to take money away from communities," read the statement.

"Platinum Stars FC is not running any trials in exchange for money. Jabulani Masilela is using the club’s letterhead and claims to be sent by the club for registration of the trials at the club and is requesting parents to deposit money into a Shoprite Money Market.

"Platinum Stars FC has, and will never ask for money in exchange to the talent scout we usually do.

"Parents and supporters are urged not to participate in the scam as this has got no relation to the club.

"For reports, please contact your nearest police station and alert the club on 014 573 4700.
Platinum Stars FC, a dream that lives within, we say #ShakeItLiveIt."
