Dikwena stick with Zongo

Cape Town - Platinum Stars have opted retain the services Masibusane Zongo for at least another season.

The 25-year-old dribbling wizard has a notorious reputation off the field but has been given a life line at Dikwena after previously being booted by a number of PSL clubs, including SuperSport United, Bidvest Wits and Chippa United for misconduct.

Stars coach Cavin Johnson, who is renowned for working with skilful players, confirmed that Zongo, who initially joined the club in January on a six-month deal, would remain in the North West for the 2015/16 campaign.

"Yes, Zongo is staying with me. He will be staying for another season. He is staying for another season and hopefully more," Johnson told Soccer Laduma.

"He's doing well. I mean, I've put Zongo to a level now where he wants to play football only and that's it. He's going to do whatever he can as far as football is concerned."

I'd keep Siya captain for now, but look to have someone else for 2027.
