According to KickOff, Dikwena striker Patrick Malokase said that the win against the Brazilians served as great motivation and it is the perfect start to a long season.
“Being the defending champions is a motivation in its own. The coach has always been saying we don't have to sit at home and watch other teams play in cup matches,” said Malokase.
“We just want to see ourselves in the final and we will do our best to make sure we reach the final and we need to jump our next hurdle which is Chiefs and we will be ready for them.”
The semi-final round is a home and away leg format and is provisionally set to played on the weekends of August 16/17 and August 23/24.
The MTN8 times and venues are still to be released at a later stage.
