According to KickOff, De Sa believes that Peteresen has what it takes to be the Urban Warriors' No 1.

“I honestly believe Brandon is a kid about to explode, because he has so much talent. I see it every day. But he’s in such an unfortunate situation that Anssi has been fantastic,” said De Sa.

“I keep saying to the chairman, the first offer that comes for Anssi, we must seriously consider it, because sometimes by keeping one, it stops the progress of the next one, especially in a situation where it’s a specialised position, like this one.”

However, De Sa is happy that he has two standout goalkeepers who can push each other during training and games alike in order to fight for their place in the team.

Meanwhile, Ajax host Maritzburg United on Saturday, November 22 at Cape Town Stadium.

Kick-off is at 20:15.
