Cape Town – Roger de Sa admits that Ajax Cape Town would be looking for players in the upcoming January transfer window.

Speaking to the Urban Warriors official website, De Sa has confirmed that he would be looking to recruit midfielders as well as strikers.

“Yes we are looking to bring in some players in the January transfer window,” said the former Bidvest Wits coach.

“We’ve looked at some midfielders, strikers and wingers who fit the requirements.

“We also need to look at who we can afford.”

Meanwhile, De Sa has been hoping to improve the development of strikers at Ikamva as Ajax are known to birth great future defensive stalwarts and exciting midfielders.

“In the history here haven’t developed many top strikers, both at Ajax Cape Town as well as Amsterdam.

“I have been trying to alert the club about this problem and hopefully that will change very soon.”

Ajax welcome Maritzburg United on Saturday, November 22 to Cape Town Stadium as the Absa Premiership resumes.

Kick-off is at 20:15.
