Cape Town – Roger de Sa believe that the empty stands gave his Ajax Cape Town side no motivation after their hard fought win over Platinum Stars.

The Urban Warriors moved back to second spot on the Absa Premiership standings courtesy of two first half goals from Cecil Lolo and Tashreeq Morris in their 2-1 over Dikwena.
According to KickOff, de Sa had higlighted this game as the one to win during a tough three game period of fixtures which included Sunday's loss to Chiefs and this weekend's Telkom Knockout encounter against Orlando Pirates.
After playing in front of a sold out Cape Town Stadium at the weekend against Kaizer Chiefs the former Bidvest Wits coach admits that that served as motivation despite the loss.
“This was most difficult one because the motivation is not there because against Chiefs we played in front of 40 000 fans and tonight it wasn’t such,” said de Sa.
“It was one of the ugliest wins, but we have to take it.
"It’s a good three points for us.”
Ajax will now travel to the Orlando Stadium for their Telkom Knockout quarter-final clash against the Sea Robbers. Kick-off scheduled for Saturday, October 25 at 20:15.
