De Sa snaps up Mofokeng

Cape Town - Ajax Cape Town have secured the services of 22-year-old defender, James Mofokeng.

The former Platinum Stars player impressed head coach Roger De Sa and his technical team following a host of friendlies.

Mofokeng’s contract with Stars expired at the end of June 2014 and he has inked a two-year deal with the Urban Warriors, the club's website confirmed.

Ajax Cape Town fans will be able to see both Mafokeng in action at the Cape Town Challenge 2014 and during the Open Supporters Day at Ikamva, July 26.
