De Sa considers Nkoana stay

Cape Town - Ajax Cape Town coach Roger de Sa has confessed that he might opt to have Thabiso Nkoana stay on a permanent basis.

According to KickOff, De Sa reveals that they have first option on signing the 21-year-old.

“We will have the first option on that when the season ends. We got a first option to keep him but there’s a price on that,” says De Sa

Nkoana is on a season-long loan with the Urban Warriors and the former Bidvest Wits coach admits that Ajax will exercise their option to hand the striker a contract.

“When you do a loan deal, it’s like a loan deal which is subject to a purchase for an amount. We will have that option before the season ends and we can exercise it anytime.

“So if we can exercise it today or on the last day of the season, it doesn't change. But it well be a bit foolish to do it now as we can rather wait until the end of the season, and see how he’s done.”
