De Sa backs defensive pairing

Cape Town – Roger de Sa praised young defenders Rivaldo Coetzee and Abbubaker Mobara’s performance as they brushed aside Bidvest Wits.

Match Report: Ajax go top, send Wits packing

According to KickOff, Ajax’s captain Dominic Isaacs is not 100% match fit ready which is why de Sa continued with 17-year-old Coetzee and 20-year-old Mobara.

“At the end we took our chances,” said de Sa after the Urban Warriors defeated Wits 3-1.

“We played off Nathan (Paulse) which I think was fantastic again.”

“Overall I was happy with the youngsters; guys like Rivaldo and Abbubaker did brilliantly.”
