Cape Town - Former Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Mandla Masango is reportedly on the verge of a move to Europe with Danish top-flight side Randers FC.
The South Africa international's eight-year stay at Naturena came to an end in June following the expiration of his contract, and he has since been searching for new employers.
Initial reports claimed Masango was a target of newly-promoted Absa Premiership side Jomo Cosmos, until club owner Jomo Sono rubbished any such talk, and the 26-year-old is now believed to be closing in on a move overseas.
Should the proposed switch to Denmark fall through, Masango could still be on his way to Europe, with an unnamed Turkish club thought to also be considering an offer for the Bafana Bafana ace.
Itumeleng Khune was also formed of the pack that opted not to extend their deal with the Sowetan club but has since made a u-turn and inked a new deal with the club.
Meanwhile, Tefu Mashamaite is waiting on his visa application to be granted so his move to Sweden could happen.
The former Chiefs captain penned a 2-year-deal with BK Hacken after his 10-day trial with New York City FC came to good use despite the club not signing him.
