Matsatsantsa will travel to the Mother City to face the Urban Warriors in the semi-finals of the Ke Yona competition at Athlone Stadium on Saturday.

The 30-year-old defender says he is eager to beat his former team-mates and guide United to their second cup glory this season.

“It’s always a special occasion for me when I face my former team,” said Daniels.

“I grew up with most of their players, they will always have a special place in my heart.

“I always try to do my best at trainings in preparation for the game against them.

“I want us to win this game and go to another cup final and possibly win it.

“It won’t be easy but we’ll do our best.”

The former Mamelodi Sundowns man marker also admitted that he was a happy camper in his maiden season at United.

“I’m feeling happy to be part of the SuperSport United team.

“They are very good team and a very ambitious club.

“It’s always good for any player to be part of a team with goals and ambitions.

“This is a team that always want to win and to make it better I am the captain at the moment.

“So we have the winning mentality and I’m quite happy about that.”

The match between United and Ajax will kick-off at 20:15 on Saturday.
