The 32-year-old played between the sticks for the Lions of Teranga during their recent Africa Cup of Nations in Equatorial Guinea, and has revealed his interest in playing his football in Soweto.

"I’m very, very impressed with what I have seen of the teams here," he told KickOff.

"I was watching the game between Pirates and Tornado. I also watched Kaizer Chiefs play against SuperSport United. I want to play here.

"I can see myself adapting and doing well here. I’m open to offers from any PSL team, but I don’t want to wait too long because I want to start playing again soon. I have proposals from USA, Cyprus, Finland and Portugal.

"You just have to see your national team and you can see this is a good league. [Bafana] played well during the Afcon and almost beat us and they were using a lot of players who play in the PSL."

Coundoul is a free agent after terminating his contract with Ethnikos Achna of Cyprus.
