Cape Town - Platinum Stars have made an announcement that
the club have signed Senegalese international goalkeeper Bouna Coundoul.

According to African Football website, the 32-year-old was
reportedly linked with a move to Orlando Pirates.
Following the sale of Siyabonga Mpontshane to the Buccaneers, it opened up the gate for Coundoul to pen a deal with Dikwena which was finalised on Wednesday evening.
"It is a privilege for me to have signed with Platinum
Stars, and looking around I see professionalism," said the former New York
"The team is run with professionalism, the staff
members were welcoming and the environment is so friendly.
"I was shocked to see the facilities, and was so
chuffed. This is like Europe, I tell you. The quality of the facilities is out
of this world."
It has been revealed that the club is currently working on getting the player a work permit.
Coundoul will get a chance to don the colours of Dikwena
when they travel to the Free State to take on Bloemfontein Celtic in a PSL
The match is scheduled for Sunday, March 1 at the Free State
Kick-off is at 15:30.
