Cape Town - Jomo Cosmos head coach Jomo Sono claims he is not worried about the club's poor start to the season and is still confident they will avoid relegation.
Ezenkosi are still looking for their first win since earning promotion back into the Premiership and find themselves second last in the standings with just three points from their opening six games.
Optimism was high when they began the season unbeaten with three straight draws, but three defeats since then has left fans wondering if their side is good enough to compete in South Africa's top flight.
However, Sono has stated he is not concerned about the club's current predicament and is convinced they will avoid relegation this season.
"I never worry about anything in life, especially in football," he told KickOff.
"You know I can take you back to my history as a coach. We lost to Black Leopards in the play-offs and you guys said we won't make it and made it.
"We will stay in the PSL, it's just a matter of time because the team is doing well. We are just waiting for that little a bit of luck. I mean Mashumba should have scored [against Sundowns]. Twice he hit side-netting. Thabang [Monare] should have scored. We are creating chances which I'm happy with and the morale is not down.
"The team is playing well, if the team wasn't playing well then I would be worried but we're creating chances and competing," he concluded.
